As you have heard from Mr. Karsch in class, tournament season is upon us. We will be attending Tri Star Taekwondo’s tournament in Kitchener on March 11/2017. For those considering fighting for the first time this is a great opportunity to see what local tournaments are all about. If you are unsure whether tournament fighting is right for you or your child, please talk to Mr. Karsch directly for feedback.
Colour belt tournaments are an exciting learning platform with fair fights set up by belt colour, age and the general size of the competitor. Fights are exciting for the whole team to watch. We encourage anyone who is considering competing but isn’t quite ready yet to come out and support the fighters.
Please talk to Mr. Karsch if you are going to be competing so he can ensure that you have all the necessary equipment for the tournament.
If you want to register for the tournament, please do all registrations through Bernie Karsch as it has to be done through the school for insurance purposes and to avoid confusion.
